Permissions & Use
There is a good deal of copyrighted material available for consumption through this site, and while I don't charge admission, I do ask that you kindly follow rules governing copyright: unless I have a creative commons license posted (see the button examples below), please ask before using the material. Odds are, I'll grant it, unless the material in question happens to involve photographs of my family (on the "family" site), and then for their protection. Additionally, I ask that you refrain from reposting content from my academic blog, as most of those essays are works in progress or thoughts that may someday turn into drafts: not actual scholarly essays. My personal blog is fair game. Below (as I told you), are examples of the button labeling a majority of my content, a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-No Derivatives 3.0 United States license. Please click on one of the buttons to read the license before you use the content, as it does restrict some uses:

The only other CC license you'll see is an "Attribution Share-Alike" license, which asks you to attribute me as an original creator of the work you're using or changing, and that you allow all others who use the material based on my work the same freedom. Again, if you have any questions about something that is not labeled precisely, please feel free to contact me via e-mail at berg.cb@gmail.com. Thanks, and enjoy the content.
